The school is open from Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and on Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00pm. The school is closed on the following holidays.
2012: November 1, December 8, 25 and 26.
2013: January 1 (Tuesday), January 6 (Sunday), April 1 (Easter Monday), April 25 (Thursday), May 1 (Wednesday), June 2 (Sunday), June 29 (Saturday), August 15 (Thursday), November 1 (Friday), December 8 (Sunday), December 25-26 (Wednesday and Thursday).
Lessons occurring on these holidays are not reimbursed nor are made up classes scheduled.
To register and reserve your place in a class you need to send your registration form, a registration fee of 60 Euro (90 Euros if you are requesting accommodation) and a deposit of 30% of the cost of the course. The registration fee is valid for 12 months and covers the course certificate issued at the end of class, book and other related course materials, general student support services, housing research, welcome and orientation activities and several monthly extracurricular activities. Your deposit and registration fee are not reimbursable.

Tuition from a group course cannot be transferred to cover the costs of an individual course. To change date, level, and kind of course, the authorization of the director is necessary. The school reserves the right to cancel a group course for underenrollment and to suggest an alternative course of equal value. The starting dates of the group courses are obligatory only for absolute beginners.
Changes in the times of individual lessons, standard and flex, must be communicated by 6.00 pm on the day before the lesson. In the case of lessons arranged on a Monday, changes must be made by 4.00 pm of the preceding Friday. For standard individual classes a maximum of two schedule changes will be accepted (after which all lessons will be as per the schedule and will be charged at the full rate.)
The cancellation must be sent via fax, post, or email. Course balance reimbursements (difference between deposit + registration fee and the total balance) are given only when cancellation is communicated 4 full weeks before the starting date of the course. The deposit and registration fee are not reimbursable in any case.
Italiaidea provides assistance finding accommodation to students only upon receipt of the 30% deposit for the chosen course. This service has an extra charge of 20 Euros in addition to the registration fee. Accommodation fees must be paid on the day of arrival directly to the landlord/lady.
In cases where a student visa is necessary, Italiaidea furnishes the necessary documentation as required by the Consulate and the Italian Embassy. To receive this documentation, Italiaidea requires the payment of the registration fee and of the deposit for each month of intensive course at Italiaidea (this may vary according to special request from the Italian Embassy in the country of origin).
The participant authorizes Italiaidea to include her/his personal data on a mailing list for the purpose of enrolment. The participant may also periodically receive informative, publicity or promotional material. In accordance with Italian law (art. 13, 675/96) the participant may at any time request the removal of her/his personal data from the mailing list of the school.
